New Businesses

From Development to Implementation – supporting the Catering and Restaurant Industry.

Our service is offered to small, medium and large establishments specializing in the skills that you do not have in-house.
Managerial skills are important in the support of the entrepreneur initially and later are critical in building a company from a project.  We will assist you with your development, Project Management, policy development, strategy formulation, facilitation and mentoring or coaching management to perform their duties effectively.

Wagner Hospitality Management does not provide a design and decoration service, (there are associates who are experts in these fields who we can advise on), we make the operation happen!  To employ an operator after the facility has been built can be costly if the operational aspects are not taken into account during the development.

Sandwiched between the designers, architects, builders and owner is the Project Manager.  We manage the business from concept to completion overseeing from an Operational perspective and providing a turn-key solution to your new venture.

The questions to ask yourself are:

1.       Target Market.  What do they want and who are they?

2.       Differentiating Characteristics: Do not be the same!

3.       Understand the guest experience.  Understand why your customer will select            your business and why they will come back

4.       Concept.  Define the Brand Schematic to define your key focus areas.

5.       Chef.  Unit level Chef (one in charge of the kitchen, but not necessarily the           recipes), versus corporate Chef (responsible for the concepts, recipes,           costings but not the day to day operations.
